This hotel is one of the nicest I've stayed in. Firstly it's in a really relaxed and charming part of the city, but near lots of great stuff. We much preferred it to staying in Shinjuku (which we did later on our trip). The hotel itself is really quiet and relaxing and cool. It's modern and filled with interesting art in small gallery rooms as well as throughout the hotel. The room is designed nicely (modern, sockets on either side of the bed that were built into the bedside tables, the lighting was soft and relaxing). Plus, the staff were delightful and we had nice chats with them. I wasn't feeling well when I arrived and they were really kind and caring and they asked how I was feeling the next day. When it was raining they ran after us to give us umbrellas. Etc. I thought it was great value for money. There weren't many breakfast options but what we had was really nice and set us up for the day and I thought the coffee was good!

So happy we chose KAIKA! - awsome coffee place on the ground floor - wonderful service, kind people, all amenities (for example laundry, common kitchen on basement level) - traveled with a baby, crib available - very clean and comfortable - quiet, safe neighborhood, nice location, easy access to asakusa metro station (10min walk) - last but not least, super cool hotel! it's beautiful to be surrounded by art. - great quality/price ratio for Tokyo.

The room and bathroom was very spacious and well laid-out. Staff were exceptionally helpful - and went out of their way to help us track down a lost mobile phone (which we left on the metro) from the Lost and Found! The basement kitchen space is brilliant when travelling for days when you just want a quiet night in. Laundry also super handy and although fairly common in Tokyo, the complimentary kit (toothbrush, pyjamas) were a bonus. Location is good - a 10' walk from various Asakusa metro entrances and in a lovely residential area. Superb stay - we loved the art and deco also! Coffee at Safn was delicious.

We wanted to stay in a more neighbourhood area, so this was spot on. A 10 min walk to the nearest subway station and very quiet. Loved the look and the vibe of the hotel with the art installations, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Heavenly-smelling shower gel and soaps.

This has to be one of the best hotels that my partner and I have ever stayed in. It exudes a lot of charm, and you can tell there was a lot of thought and quality that was put into the construction of the space and rooms. It is located about a 10~15min walk from Asakusa station (either the Ginza Line or the Toei Asakusa Line), and placed in a quaint neighbourhood with plenty of konbinis nearby. Rooms on the upper floor are easily accessible via the lifts, and the reception has staff till midnight! The hotel functions also as an art space/gallery, with art pieces/installations in the lifts, along the walls, and in the basement! The hotel room is extremely extremely cosy and comfortable. Clean beds and pillows, great AC, and strong WIFI! There's a big TV with netflix available, freakin' awesome. They provide room service every alternate day, with an emphasis on being environmentally conscientious, which we respect and follow too. Special mention for the bathroom/shower room. It is incredible. Unique wall material in the shower area, and the mood lighting was just a great touch. It's definitely a luxury, not necessary at all, but such a cool touch by the hotel. It really makes your stay special and memorable. Everyday that we took a shower, we just felt so in awe. Sounds ridiculous I know, so people should definitely book a stay here and experience it themselves. Staff were all very kind and friendly, especially when we checked in quite late (close to midnight), and also when we had questions about leaving our luggage after check-out. Cleaning staff were very respectful and friendly too! No issues at all. Kaika was a big highlight of our holiday, and we would definitely come back again. Thank you for the great experience. Love the space, we miss it already!

It was pretty cool to see a hotel, café, and art museum all in one. The art and overall aesthetic gave the place so much character. When comparing to other hotels in Japan, their rooms are very spacious, especially the bathroom. The facilities and amenities were complete, and the staff were hospitable and accommodating. I really feel like I got my money's worth, so I would definitely stay here again and even recommend this to others.

This stay was amazing! It was a 10 minute walk from the nearest station and we loved that it was really close to the Skytree! We enjoyed walking back to the hotel and seeing it at night! Lots of amenities and the lounge was nice! We didn't get a chance to try out the cafe inside but we enjoyed seeing the many art paintings and sculptures around the hotel. Will be staying here again on my next visit! Thank you KAIKA staff!

The hotel was super cool and very quiet. Our pre teen boys loved the loft sleeping area. It was a short walk to Asakusa train station which is on the line from the airport and also is a Ginza train line station which takes you to Shibuya. The robes were a nice touch and having the separate toilet and roomy shower together was great. Lastly, we wanted to buy some of the art!
